Step right up to honour Melbourne’s famous boxing legends! A 3-day painting exhibition presented in the historic 60 year-old Collingwood Boxing Club. Featuring live sparring, recorded stories of the legends and a chook raffle!
Sonia Dimitriadis (‘Superhuman’, Fringe Festival 2004) and BJ Zymantas (‘Only Gestures’ Jiotto Studios, 2004) have teamed up as ‘JYB Loves Trouble’ to commemorate Melbourne’s famous boxing legends with 10 spectacular sideshow banners. Inspired by the historical travelling boxing tents and stencil art of today’s urban local boxing club culture. Melbourne’s Boxing Legends follows the unique cultural journey of the Melbourne boxing scene throughout the ages.
